(ooc)----------(out of character)----------(ooc)
I've been working on a character history for okia for quite some time now. Its still only an intro and not yet finished but i have decided to put it on my journal anyway. Okia really -is- a druid allthough she started out her carreer as a warrior (clearing up some confusion). Since my english isn't all that great there might be some grammatical errors here and there, please dont hold it against me *blush*

How it all began
Heavy grey rainclouds slowly drifted through the night sky, acompanied by the sound of crashing thunder as the rain fell down upon the inky black grassy plains in a neverending downpour. Coalmane managed to hold back a slight crude smile as a flash of lightning cleaved through the rain, enlighting the silhouettes of a small crowd with a faint aura. They had all come. Allthough the woman was unable to witness their physical appearance due to her lack of eyesight, she could sense their prescence ever so clearly while she calmly stepped forward upon mighty feral paws. The sound of soft whispers and heavy breathing filling her jagged ears. The tall one..the hornless one..even afew trolls and orcs she had never met before.Yes..everybody was there. Slightly lifting her head on a rather arrogant manner, the crowd parted to create a narrow passageway towards what seemed to be a badly constructed wooden cage. Inside her opponent was allready awaiting her arrival, his gigantic frame filling nearly the entire pen, causing his seemingly tiny horns to poke out through the splintery bars. So he had come aswell. The giant of Mulgore. The deadly silence that had formed around the pen only beeing broken by the males rasping breath. Coalmane noticed his tongue lapping out for a short moment as he caught glimpse of her. At the side of the hideous contraption, ontop of an upside-down turned crate was placed a lavender-ish feathered crown, its fragile Luminescent plumage glinstering in the cold rain.It was a prize worth fighting for and the woman would even take the risk of losing her precious pelt to be able to gain such a rare headpiece for her collection. Pridefully strutting though the entrance of the pen,she showed not a single hint of nervousness, the expression on her broad scarred face remaining as blank as an unwritten piece of paper. The tension between both rivals was steadily building up as they circled around eachother with the intention of finding a weak spot,a good oppurtunity to strike a blow without getting counterattacked. There was no need for words for their goal was shared, without showing remorse for their abuse of the earthmothers strenght. As thunder softly rumbled in the distance their battle began. Because of the bad weather,Coalmane found it hard to concentrate on her oponents energy, lightning constantly disrupting her attempts to sense the presence of the giant she shared the pen with.Normally she would find it relatively easy to predict her enemies movements in a fight, aided by her animalistic instinct and superiour strenght and senses, though on this night she was clearly at a big disadvancement. Lashing out a swift strike at the male, the wet floor caused her to slip, just barely missing target with her mauling claws, though creating just enough time for him to grab a hold of the sensitive flesh on the back of her neck. The crowd gasped in suspense. Effordlessly lifting the struggling woman off her paws by her fur,the giant of Mulgore crushed the small fuzzy ears in a powerful grip,a manical expression becomming visible on his face. This Tauren wasnt interested in gaining a new piece of valuable equipment,it was bloodthirst that drove this man to engage in a battle that would involve the death of his opponent. Swinging his helpless victim around like a morbid marionette,he continued to slowly snap the bones in the allready badly mangled woman, clearly enjoying the cruel game. "i wonder how high and mighty youll be without your precious fangs and claws you dirty wench" The swipe came totally unexpected. Without emitting a single sound the woman had planted the sharp nails of her claw directly into the unprotected area of the males crotch with a surprising force, causing him to release her and collapse.Landing on her stomach,Coalmane had slowly turned around towards the fallen giant that was now nothing more but a curled up bundle of patethic whimpering. Pushing herself onto all fours, she stepped on the males back, grasping his head between her jaws, slowly and steadily closing them, blood starting to trail down the corner of her muzzle. "acknowledge me..." She snarled, accompanied by crashing thunder. "acknowledge my superiority.." A single raven let out a lonesome cry in the distance as tears slowly dripped down the womans cheeks. With her victim squeeling in her grasp of death, she truly felt alive. As she reached a state of newly discovered hysteria, the woman started to space out, slipping into a deep trance, never releasing the opponent that had become her prey from her iron grip.It was asif the gloomy stormy surroundings faded from her mind's eye, making way for lush green sunbeat fields, adorned with dancing butterflies and laughing, happy voices. She had found herself back in the mid sized settlement she had once called her home,Bloodhoof village, the visions of her past slowly unfolding themselves to form a short story. .... .... .... A young tauren female, from about twenty years of age was standing expectantly into a small circle of wooden poles, her back straightened nervously.Allthough she was significantly larger than most females of her tribe, she carried herself elegantly on broad split hooves, her lively trot betraying a hard to miss feminine elegance that could capture the glance of most men her age.Yet it was the ignorance of her own natural charm and ability that had caused her eyes to glinster with self conciousness, silently pushing those away that tried to make contact. Some simple black leather armor that was sharply contrasting against her tan-stained white fur was clad about her voluptuous forms,an apprentice's sword resting within the palm of her hand. She was restlessly hopping from one leg onto another, the thick coarse pelt that waved down in a compact curtain of fur from the base of her knee's down to fully cover up her hooves, capturing clouds of dust within it.Allthough she was young, the tauren female had allready managed to collect an impressive ammount of scars from unknown origins,a remarkably large one in the shape of a large animal's claw rake encleaving the bridge of her calf like snout. The long wavey coal colored mane that had earned her,her name was loosely braided up to dangle down the front of her shoulders, the smooth frontlock fully covering up the entire left side of her face. She was impatiently twitching her ears, causing the impressive ammount of silver earrings that were pierced through both ears to chime softly, awaiting the instructions of the tutor that would teach her the beginner's techniques of warrior-hood. The rest of the students that were attending the same class were circled around the poles, watching the female with growing interest. She had joined up with the Bloodhoof tribe not too long ago,and still remained a big mystery to her fellow trainees, who were unaware of her skill and style of fighting.Today would be the first day for Coalmane to start off as a Warrior. |
